Paolo Porelli and Nino Caruso at the opening of 'Controfigure', Porelli's solo show at Palazzo Defini |
My most recent solo exhibition in Roma was in this splendid
room of Palazzo Delfini in the Jewish quarter. It was an opportunity too good
to pass up so I set myself to work to organize the show in the two months between my return from a summer residency at
Byrdcliffe and my departure for The Clay Studio where I was invited as the
Guest-Artist-in-Residence for November/December. The exhibition was important
for the concentration of recent works which I was able to present. In the
photo, my encounter with Maestro ceramicist and sculptor Nino Caruso, guest at the
inauguration.
